Ron writes: "Dolphin: Based on a modern mosaic of an ancient Greek mosaic from the island of Delos around 200-300 BCE. We own the original modern mosaic [about 9x13 inches] and this was a stimulus to get back into smaller tiles. I had a lot of success making my own tiny tiles from polymer clay, however, there is no way that clay can create the livelier surface of "real" mosaic tiles."
